The Muppets may no longer have their own show, but they are really embracing the Internet, and YouTube really seems to suit them and their style of humor. This skit of a much lesser known character singing “Stand By Me” is … disturbing on some levels, but it’s hysterical and cute all at once.

The folks at The Onion have an amazing ability to deliver parodies in the most serious tone imaginable. This new clip where YouTube challenges its users to actually make a ‘good’ video for a chance at a $100,000 prize is just yet another example of this skill this group possesses. The Muppets have released a new video of Beaker singing “Dust in the Wind” by Kansas and, well … as is common with Beaker, things don’t go exactly as planned.

Not 100% filled with humor, but it is basically the 100 greatest videos (thus far) on YouTube.  Frighteningly I haven’t seen them all … guess I know what I’m doing tonight!
