Apparently Ben Folds is really enjoying doing these Chatroulette ode to Merton moments in his concerts. He’s back with a second one (mildly not safe for work due to language) and it’s just as funny as the first one.  You have to wonder what goes through the heads of these people when they see this pop up on their screens.

Merton is back with the second installment of him freestyling in real-time with random strangers on Chatroulette. The first installment ended up inspiring Ben Folds to do his own version in concert recently.  Will installment #2 inspire even more impersonators?  Not safe for work due to some mild language.

Singer-songwriter Ben Folds decided to get in on the whole Chatroulette craze, but he took the angle of doing it while in front of a crowd of 2,000 fans. Taking his cue from Metron, who did the hilarious Chatroulette Funny Piano Improv #1 video, Mr. Folds donned a hoodie, and played improv piano songs to the people he found on the site.  Mildly not safe for work due to language … but at least they edited out the penises.

It seems that Chatroulette is becoming a source of a good chunk of the humor on the Internet as of late.  The site is popular with lots of people for different reasons, but it has also become a fertile ground for those with creative minds to pull pranks on unsuspecting people.  Luckily most of them are harmless, and like this piano playing guy who makes up songs about the people who meets on the site.

The fun of Chatroulette seems to know no bounds, and this new video of someone pranking everyone they come across is pretty amusing. Watch it to find out how it worked, although I would love to know how many people didn’t turn the heads, but he still racked up an impressive score.

Chatroulette is a site of questionable repute, and the media has gone nuts over covering it. Leave it to Jon Stewart and The Daily Show to not only accurately explain what the site is, how the media coverage has been silly, but at the same time make you laugh out loud over it. Mildly not safe for work, but it can’t be too bad when the likes of Diane Sawyer, Brian Williams, Katie Couric and Keith Olbermann all agree to appear in it.

Chatroulette is a site that allows you to find random people to chat with without giving away your personal info.  Seeing as that it uses video, you also never know what you might see on the other end … like a guy in a full Cobra Commander costume from G.I. Joe asking you to be his valentine …
