Ben Folds’ Chatroulette Piano Ode to Merton

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

Singer-songwriter Ben Folds decided to get in on the whole Chatroulette craze, but he took the angle of doing it while in front of a crowd of 2,000 fans. Taking his cue from Metron, who did the hilarious Chatroulette Funny Piano Improv #1 video, Mr. Folds donned a hoodie, and played improv piano songs to the people he found on the site.  Mildly not safe for work due to language … but at least they edited out the penises.

YouTube Contest Challenges Users To Make A ‘Good’ Video

Friday, March 19th, 2010

The folks at The Onion have an amazing ability to deliver parodies in the most serious tone imaginable. This new clip where YouTube challenges its users to actually make a ‘good’ video for a chance at a $100,000 prize is just yet another example of this skill this group possesses. (not safe for work due to mild language)

The TV Theme Medley

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

FreddeGredde are well known for posting music videos on YouTube, but this is easily my favorite of all of them. They mash up 22 different TV theme songs into one massive song, and it’s amazing how easily they transition from one to another. Well worth the time to watch them all, and try not to sing along if you are in your office.

My Mom’s on Facebook (80′s hair band version)

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

This is the second video with the name of “My Mom’s on Facebook“, but darn it, it makes for a good subject for humor videos because it is a disturbing trend to say the least.  This one is mildly not safe for work due to some saucy language, but that’s the only reason, and even at that it is pretty mild.

Now, get out your lighters and wave them in the air as you listen to the power ballad.

Chatroulette Funny Piano Improv #1

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

It seems that Chatroulette is becoming a source of a good chunk of the humor on the Internet as of late.  The site is popular with lots of people for different reasons, but it has also become a fertile ground for those with creative minds to pull pranks on unsuspecting people.  Luckily most of them are harmless, and like this piano playing guy who makes up songs about the people who meets on the site.

Be sure to also check out the second installment, and the Ben Folds homage.

The Great Office War

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

This is one of those videos where you just have to wonder how they got inspired to do something so outrageous. I actually traded e-mails with the creator of this video shortly after it came out, and he informed me that the kind people at Nerf actually donated a goodly number of the weapons to the video. Considering how much Nerf guns cost, good thing for them!

Google Wave Cyber Sex

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

Google Wave is one of the latest products from the Google corporation. While it was supposed to re-imagine e-mail as if it had been created today as opposed to years ago, it has quickly degraded into a ghost town that no one seems the interested in using. This video parodies those well-known Google product introduction videos, and is slightly not safe for work due to language and sexual innuendo.

Keyboard Cat REINCARNATED!

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

One of the best known Internet memes, Keyboard Cat was actually a cat named Fatso that passed away a few years ago. Charlie Scmidt, the human of Fatso that got her to play the keyboard, has returned with a new cat, and a new take on the new classic viral video.  Will it have the life of its predecessor?  Who knows, but it’s still fun to watch.

On the off chance you have never seen the full original video, here it is below.
